Overview

MAHSA University’s Master of Medical Sciences is primarily designed for students who intend to pursue doctoral studies (Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent). Graduates will be equipped to apply their knowledge to real-life situations, develop social skills, and enhance critical thinking, with a focus on an integrative and technological understanding of biological systems at all levels. This program prepares them for careers in research and teaching within the fields of Medical and Health Sciences.

Graduates will gain competencies in idea management, communication, and leadership, enabling them to evaluate complex issues, plan effectively, implement solutions, and publish their findings. The program introduces students to intensive study and research methods in selected areas of medical sciences.

The curriculum is designed to align with current trends and needs, offering a highly sought-after blend of theoretical learning, e-learning, and practical sessions in laboratories and hospitals. It is accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency and the Ministry of Higher Education.

The course is delivered by experienced lecturers across all fields, with the Faculty of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences boasting 116 qualified and experienced staff members in medical sciences.

Entry Requirements

  •  A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 MQF) in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences Health or equivalent qualifications from any institution of higher education accredited by the Faculty Postgraduate Academic Board and Senate with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
