The modules in this degree program integrate biomedical, clinical, and behavioral sciences, with a strong emphasis on human anatomy, craniofacial biology, physiology, biochemistry, and microbiology. Additionally, the curriculum covers pathology, pharmacology, human organ systems, disease processes, emergency procedures, infection control, oral health diseases, biomaterials, operative dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, public health, and community dentistry.
Upon completing the program, students will be equipped to perform a wide range of dental tasks, from basic procedures like tooth extractions and the repair of oral imperfections to more complex interventions such as root canals and prosthodontics treatment. They will have the skills to diagnose, treat, and prevent dental diseases while also accepting professional responsibility for providing effective and safe patient care.
