Overview
The Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Applied Chemistry program at UTP University Malaysia focuses on Petrochemistry and Sustainable Chemistry. It aims to produce skilled graduates with knowledge, practical skills, and values needed for a high-income society. The program emphasizes student-centered learning, practical-based approaches, and experiential learning. Students gain a strong foundation in Fundamental Chemistry and take advanced courses in areas such as Separation Process, Hydrocarbon and Petrochemical, Quantum and Computational Chemistry, and Analytical Instrumentation. Specializations in Petrochemistry or Sustainable Chemistry are available. The program includes a 7-month industrial internship for practical experience.

- Foundation in a relevant field from a recognised institution.
- Minimum final CGPA of 3.00/4.00
